Jed Putterman is Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Kogniz. Jed is an accomplished technologist having started several technology companies including Snapcentric, which pioneered the use of graph-based behavioral analytics for real-time fraud detection. The company was used by some of the top financial institutions and was acquired by VeriSign. Previously Jed founded Allerez, a real-time big-data analytics company which was acquired by Mercury Interactive Corporation. Jed began his career at Oracle Corporation and spent many years as a consultant for large companies including Sun Microsystems, SGI, and Aspect Communications.
Jed graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and lives in San Francisco. He is the proud father of 3 kids, 2 of whom are in college studying molecular biology and astro-physics and have far surpassed his ability to help with their homework. Jed is an avid ultra-marathon runner, having completed in multiple 50-mile and 50-kilometer races and can often be found on the trails of the Marin Headlands.
Sara Gioia
Director of Client Success

Sara Gioia is an experienced customer success leader with more than a decade of experience helping individuals and organizations to use technology to meet and exceed their goals. At Kogniz, Sara leads the Customer Success Team and manages client relationships from initial sales pursuits through onboarding, custom implementations, customer success, and ongoing support. Before joining Kogniz, Sara supported philanthropic and charitable organizations as a solutions engineer and account executive at Blackbaud, and previously led a nonprofit startup incubator for the Pikes Peak Community Foundation where she managed more than 170 startup projects.
Sara has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts Administration from Colorado College, and spends her free time playing ukulele, training for triathlons, and playing games with her friends and family. Sara lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with her husband, daughter and dog.
